Issue with line thickness while trying to create a graphic

Posted 5 years ago

Hello,

I am trying to do a graphic in which I have lots of horizontal lines that connect to each other with different colors. I would like the lines to have an increased thickness to be more visible. When I increase the thickness, the lines not only get vertically bigger but also horizontally, which prevents them to connect at the exact spot and causes them to overlap each other. I made a simplified version of the problem to illustrate. Is there a way to specify only a vertical thickness and thus prevent this overlapping issue?

Thank you very much,

Try looking at CapForm. From memory I think you might need to set this as “Butt”.
