Formal mathematical notation for Partition, Flatten, Tuples?

Posted 4 years ago

In other words, how would you write this equation in a formal mathematics format appropriate for a discussion in matrix algebra?

D=Partition[Flatten[Tuples[Reverse[IdentityMatrix[a]],w]],(a*w)]

My days of dealing with formal math notation is behind me. But, this caught my interest.

So, I tried googling: Math Notation *

It looks like they have a notation for everything, but I did not have time to go through all of the details.

Good luck, and have a great weekend.

Mike, Thank you. I did not expect to find so much on the web. Wikipedia seems to have it all, but it's going to take hours to reproduce the Mathematica functions. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mathematical_symbols

Has anyone else gone through this rather tedious exercise?

It would be excellent to have a Wolfram page with all of the Mathematica functions (when possible) in markup languages. I don't know if that is HTML or internal markup language, LATEX, MathML, MathJax, jsMath package, etc.
