Running a notebook on iOS Player

Posted 3 years ago

I am trying to understand what the requirements are for a notebook to run successfully on the Wolfram Player on my iPad. The program runs fine in Mathematica 12 on my desktop, but won't do anything in Player. I have followed all the requirements I know about, such as avoiding requiring user keyboard entry and not having any file requests. I have also tried initializing the code outside the Manipulate function. I have attached a test file that runs fine in Mathematica. I would appreciate it if someone can tell me what changes need to be made to the file to get it to run in Player. If anyone knows of a document that spells out the specific programming requirements to get a notebook file to run in Player, please publish a link to the document.

Mike:

I've only read about this so far, but I do remember reading that you might need to use the following options to get this working outside of the desktop:

  • Initialization
  • SaveDefinitions

I hope that helps.

Have a great and safe holiday.
