SystemModeler 4.1 is now available.

I'm proud to present WSM 4.1. This version improves connectivity with other tools and adds features in system reliability and usability, as well as many quality improvements.

  • Support for FMI import of models from other tools
  • Reliability analysis of system models using reliability diagrams, fault trees, and parametric lifetime distributions
  • Improved unit support that enables input and plotting in user-chosen units
  • Complete copy and paste support among models
  • Better native look and feel on OS X
  • Improved search and navigation in documentation
  • Fully updated Modelica by Example book on the Modelica language

If you are a current user, I think you'll be happy to see that you can now select components and copy and paste them among models. It's probably our most requested feature!

Speaking of often requested features, you can now select units and prefixes from a drop-down menu:

Mac users are in for a treat. Many have Model Center opened on one screen and Simulation Center on another. With the native Mac full screen support this workflow has been significantly enhanced. And SystemModeler overall looks better in 4.1!
