Problem in interacting with demonstrations

Hi all,

Recently I am facing problems in interacting with wolfram demonstrations because whenever I am trying to interact, a pop up says

Get free Wolfram CDF Player

I have installed the cdf player 10.1, 10.0.2 and 9.01 but the same thing happens.

I have currently player version 9.01 and player pro version of 10.0.2 installed in my machine (I have uninstalled version 10.1).

Can anyone say why this is happening?

Any help in appreciated.

If you are using Chrome (google) it doesn't support activex plugins in the future. Here is a workaround:

We haven't heard from the M-team how they will handle this going forward for Chrome and Firefox here is more:

Thank you so much. I use chrome on windows 8 64 bit and following your instructions, demonstrations are again interactive to me. But one thing I am worrying about is that while I am trying to load the demonstration, chrome says that

This site uses a plugin (wolfram mathematica) which will soon be unsupported

I think wolfram research people should have a look on it
