HighlightImage fails when given a valid list of positions

Posted 9 years ago

I'm running Mathematica 10.3.0.0 on Mac OSX 10.11.1

After extensive testing, HighlightImage seems to fail whenever I give it a list of positions that I create.

The standard example provided with HightlightImage, using ImageCorners, works as documented.

It also works, for a single point: Take[ImageCorners[...], 1]

BUT, it fails for the argument, List [ First[ImageCorners[...]]

which Mathematica claims is Equal to the Take.

I've attached a file that demonstrates this very clearly in just a few lines.

Is this a bug, or am I doing something stupid late at night ?

Thanks

Ed Komp

P.S. I've also found that, mylist2 = Take[ Join[mylist, Take[corners,1]], 1] works...

Marco,

Thanks for the quick response.

Can my address be attached to the Bug report so that I get informed when it is corrected?

Hi Ed,

I don't think that there will be any further update on this from Wolfram. This is where the problem was brought up

http://community.wolfram.com/groups/-/m/t/586927

I suppose that it will just magically work again in one of the next releases.

Cheers,

Marco

Hi Ed,

I can confirm that this is fixed in MMA 10.3.1 now.
