Calling Mathematica 11 functions from IPython/Jupyter?

I would like to be able to call Mathematica 11 functions from my IPython / Jupyter environment running under Anaconda/Navigator on my Mac with OS 10.11.6. Can that be done? If so, how? ~ Thanks, Dipu
