"Wolfram developers use the Wolfram language"
"Wolfram developers use the same function stack as a general user"
I have heard these statements on various official Wolfram presentations. The first statement was from Steven (maybe paraphrased).
Someone on YouTube was asking about the language Mathematica uses to add new functionality -- python or C#, e.g.. I gave an answer based on the above statements. I even went on to say "that is the reason Mathematica can very quickly provide new, powerful, functions that are integrated seamlessly". (Like was version 10 used to produce version 11).
Is this really true? Is the core in Wolfram language?
Just set me straight. Did I mislead the YouTube guy?
Thank you, Your humble user
