How about linking to a Latin dictionary so that your system would automatically know which declension a noun belonged to or which conjugation a verb belonged to?
It seems to me that at the very start, the expression `ndim = 2` defeats the intent of the question as I understand it, namely, to have an *arbitrary, symbolic* dimension `n` and not some particular dimension.
